ABOUT ME
I trained as a therapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University and am currently engaged in advanced postgraduate study in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. I’m drawn to the complexity of inner life—how we become who we are, how early experiences continue to shape us, and how parts of ourselves can remain just outside awareness until something brings them into view. My own experience of changing direction in life has also given me a deep respect for the uncertainty that can come with questioning an established path, and for the possibility that can emerge when we begin to listen more closely to what no longer fits.
MY APPROACH
I’m interested in the parts of us that aren’t always easy to explain—the feelings we return to, the patterns that seem to repeat, the things we sense before we fully understand them. My approach is relational and rooted in depth-oriented, psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Together, we’ll stay curious about what your inner life may be trying to show you, and how your past continues to shape the way you move through the present. I pay attention not only to what you say, but to what emerges between us over time. Therapy, to me, is less about becoming someone new and more about coming into a fuller relationship with who you already are
